IRONMAN is the largest series of triathlon events in the world. In 2024, there will be three Polish editions of the races: Citi Handlowy IRONMAN 70.3 Warsaw, Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia, and Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Poznań. Additionally, Sport Evolution, the Polish operator of these events, will organize the first-ever IRONMAN-branded race in the Czech Republic - IRONMAN 70.3 Hradec Králové will take place on August 18.
Registration for all of these events is now open, and the start lists already feature nearly 1200 names, less than a day after registration opened.
Currently, Warsaw and the Czech city of Hradec Králové are leading the way. Due to the new, shorter distances in the Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia program, as well as the distant date of the Poznań race, it's expected that many people will sign up for these events at a later time. - Piotr Jakóbik, Marketing Director of IRONMAN Poland
The organizers are particularly pleased with the strong registration opening for IRONMAN 70.3 Hradec Králové. The Czech city, located just an hour away from Prague and a few kilometers from the Polish border, offers excellent conditions for triathletes to compete.

All Polish editions, as well as IRONMAN 70.3 Hradec Králové, will offer participants competition on two main distances: IRONMAN 70.3 (1.9 km swim - 90 km bike - 21.1 km run) and the Olympic distance (1.5 km swim - 40 km bike - 10 km run). Each event will also feature accompanying competitions for the youngest athletes, called IRONKIDS, and nighttime 5 km runs.
Additionally, swimming competitions, called Open Water, are planned in Warsaw and Poznań, while Gdynia will host a new competition called 4:18:4 Gdynia powered by Sportano.pl, which is a more accessible short-distance triathlon race: 400m swim, 18 km bike, and 4 km run.
